Certification, Inspection and Valuation Services
ISE provides, among other services, independent inspection, documentation, analysis, certification and valuation services relating to metals, rare earths, raw materials and other goods.
These services may include in particular:
- Inspection Reports;
- Sample Taking Reports;
- analyses;
- valuations;
- Safekeeping Receipts; and
- Metal Audits for the inspection and valuation of complete lots of goods.
The nature, scope and significance of any inspection, analysis, valuation, certification or documentation are determined by the respective engagement and the applicable contractual terms.
The provision of certification, inspection, analysis or valuation services does not mean that ISE acts as purchaser, seller, trader or broker of the inspected or valued goods.

Storage and Custody Services
ISE also provides storage, custody and related services.
Storage and custody services are governed by the respective separate storage agreements and the terms incorporated therein.
In connection with such services, ISE acts as warehouse keeper and/or custodian. Ownership of stored goods does not transfer to ISE merely as a result of storage or custody.
Storage and custody services are legally and economically separate from ISE’s information, certification, inspection, analysis and valuation services.
